What this tool actually does

Change timing and pitch using only the independent controls and algorithms that are implemented in the current tool.

Tempo is driven by targetBpm: the plugin derives the rate as bpm / originalBpm and the export clamps it to 0.25–4.0 (Math.max(0.25, Math.min(4.0, rate))).

Key lock keeps pitch independent of tempo: with key lock on and 0 semitones, the export runs the in-tree WSOLA timeStretch(pcmChannels, stretchRate, opts) instead of a playback-rate change.

Pitch shifts with pitchSemitones plus fineTuneCents, and speedToSemitones converts a rate into semitones; with key lock off the tempo change modulates pitch directly, like a turntable.

Three algorithms are implemented — polyphonic, transient and tonal — and getStretchOptionsForAlgorithm picks the WSOLA frame and overlap for each one.

The offline branch for this view re-renders the stretched or rate-shifted audio and exports it as WAV, MP3 or AIFF.
