What this tool actually does

Match audio loudness to a chosen target using the loudness and peak controls actually implemented by Deckmatics.

Twelve presets pair a loudness target with a peak ceiling, from -8 LUFS (EDM & Bass) and -9 (DJ & Club Festival) through Spotify -14 and Apple Music -16 to EBU R128 -23 and ATSC A/85 -24; on export the chosen target sets the gain as target minus the measured value, clamped to -30 and +18 dB, so these are contextual preset values rather than a universal club standard.

The selected peak ceiling is applied on export by the real limiter: the normalized render is passed through processLimiterOffline with that ceilingDb, a lookahead limiter whose ceiling is a dBFS sample-peak limit, while the on-screen peak readout in the plugin is the plain sample peak of the decoded buffer.

The normalized result is re-rendered offline through the gain and limiter chain and then written as WAV, MP3 or AIFF and downloaded in the browser.
